Miguel Vargas
|
Miguel Vargas, who has performed on nearly all of ther world’s important stages, is an inspiration to both beginners and
advanced students with his vast nowledge of the art and his stirring but heartfelt way of teaching it.
It is one of Miguel Vargas skills to demand the maximum of what each and every student is capable of achieving.
Not more than that, but defnitely no less. It is his major concern to lead every student to find his own personal style.
The ability to express passion with the dance is more important for him than the technically correct execution of a step sequence.
„The most important thing is that your heart works, because Flamenco is nothing but feeling!“ he says.
This is the attitude that Miguel Vargas always tries to convey and to dance with.
|
„It is crucial to know the vocals and to not dance mechanically. Music and Vocals have to become internal. With me, students learn to place their steps
according to the vocals.“ His lessons are alway accompanied by his infatigable vocals.
With his unique Style of dancing and teaching, Miguel Vargas opens up new dimensions for participants of his workshops and often times
induces the desire to get into the world of Flamenco in a deeper way.
Miguel Vargas and his wife Esperanza Fernández operate the Centro de Arte y Flamenco de Sevilla, where they live with their three sons.
