Raphaela Stern

Born in Hamburg in 1979, Raphaela Stern started dancing flamenco at age 15. Still living in her hometown she took classes with visiting teachers like Rafaela Carrasco, Javier Latorre and Joaquín Ruíz, before she moved to Seville in 2000 to study at the Fundación Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco. There she continued her studies with Carmen Ledesma, Manolo Soler, Milagros Menjíbar and "La Choni". After graduation from the Fundación Raphaela Stern continued to live in Seville to intensify her studies with Miguel Vargas, Carmen Ledesma, Úrsula López and María Ángeles Gabaldón.
In the spring of 2004 she moved to Berlin, where she opened the Centro Flamenco Raphaela Stern in June of the same year. There she teaches continuous classes of all levels and workshops all over Germany. |

She also regularly works as assistant at workshops of visiting artists such as Miguel Vargas, Carmen Ledesma, El Torombo, etc.
In 2005, Raphaela Stern was presented at the 10th annual Flamenco Festival in Berlin as a Promising Young Dancer. In April of 2006 she was part of the world premier of El Torombos piece "sembrar - así sentimos" at the Flamencofestival Düsseldorf. Since January 2007 Raphaela Stern is a member of the Compañia „alma flamenca“ led by Antonio Arrebola. In 2007 and 2008 she performed more than 20 concerts nationwide.
In Dember of 2008 Raphaela Stern danced under the direction of Miguel Vargas at the Gala Flamenca in the prestigeous Teatro Lope de Vega in Seville, accompanied by Curro Ferández, Juan José Amador, Enrique El Extremeño, Miguel und Eugenio Iglesias and Joselito Carrasco. There she got awarded „Promesa de baile 2008“ by the Fundación Antares Foro, Agencia Andaluza del Flamenco and Cajasol.
Since January 2009 Raphaela Stern is member of the Swiss „ Compañia el Contrabando.“
Raphaela Sterns dance is full of a sensuous, playful lightness, but powerful and energetic at the same time. Her elegant style is best reflected in her handling of the Bata de Cola. José de Haro

José de Haro started to study Flamenco with Mariló Regidor in his hometown of Córdoba.
From age 13 to 17 he was also taught at the Danza Española by Margarita Jurado.
Later he perfected his skills by studying with Israel Galván, Pastora Galván und Fran Espinosa.
For several years José de Haro dances at the school of Concha Calero and performs with her gorup at the renowned Tablao „El Cardenal“ as soloist.
He has appeared as member of the Flamenco Ensemble on Festivals all over Andalusia and Spain. |

Anna Natt

Anna Natt started to study Flamenco in her hometown of Minneapolis before moving to Sevilla where she studied from 2000-2002 at the Fundación de Arte Flamenco Christina Heeren in classes with Milagros Menjíbar, Manolo Soler, Rafael Campallo and Isabel Bayón, among others.
She continued her studies in Sevilla from 2002-2005 with Israel Galvan, Adela Campallo, Maria Angeles Gabaldon, Belen Maya, and Alicia Marquez.
She taught regular classes as an assisant teacher at the Fundacion in Sevilla from 2001-2002 and in the United States from 2003-2005.

Leonie Bockemühl

Dancer Leonie Bockemühl studied Performance at the Dance University „Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten Arnhem“ in the Netherlands where she majored in Dance Education.
In the summer of 2004 she graduated in Modern Dance, Ballet, Flamenco and Creative Dance for Children.
While still in school she started to teach in various studios in the Netherlands, conducted
workshops and organized several creative dance projects at highschools.
Since September 2006 Leonie Bockemühl works as a freelance vertical silk artist and Dance performer all over Germany.
